2 Way Radio2 Way Radio can be split into 2 catagories, Licence free and Professional radio. This section explaines the differences between them. 
Licence free equipment works on a predefined set of frequencies which means that once you have purchased the product, there are no extra fees to pay or licences to obtain. Even though the channels are shared with anyone using licence exempt equipment, it is still possible to limit the possibility of interference using private listening tones. More Info 
Professional radio is the collective term given to those products which require a licence in order to legally operate. Because the licences are issued by a central body in each country, interference should never occur. More Info |
